Private plate removal ?

The registration is currently on a vehicle and I need to take it off and put it back onto retention??

What's the best/quickest way of doing this as I believe dvla may of changed the way these things are done recently?

Keeping the car, dealer has just usually dealt with it!

Download the form and try and get it done at a local LVLO office though most have closed so you may have to do it by post and will have to send the MOT, if it has one, to be changed to the new reg they will issue (usually the original one).

If you have to send it to Swansea, it's taking 4 weeks at the moment.
