Chaps can you help please?
Just had a mobridge installed in my 997.1 Turbo. All working good apart from an annoying issue. When the PCM is turned on it says 'System Error: CD Changer Missing'.
Now I know the Mobridge sits on the MOST loop in place of the CD Changer so is there any way to turn this message off?
I'm concerned if I take it somewhere to turn off the search for the CD Changer the Mobridge will stop working, but there must be a solution.

Yes, that's the usual way it goes. I have the Dension, but the way they work is to mimic the behaviour of the CD changer.
I'm therefore surprised the CD changer is still in the loop, but perhaps if it's coded-out it doesn't matter.
You've probably found that pressing the button gets rid of that error message and the MoBridge works fine after that, in which case re-coding with a PIWIS will eliminate the message and you'll have no further problems.

You need to remove the CD changer from the loop and have somebody with a PIWIS code the car to CD off. On my 996 I didn't have a CD changer, and after I fitted it I still had to have the car coded to CD off in order to get rid of the message.If the CD changer is coded out will the PCM still recognize the Mobridge?

Couple of Mobridge questions
If I leave my iPod connected to the cable in the storage box overnight does the iPod stay awake and drain the battery?
Does the Mobridge recognise track numbers? I will RTFM but after an initial go it keeps ordering albums/playlists alphabetically rather than in track list order

I also find that if left for several days, it takes a good few mins to put enough charge back in to the iPod for it to register on the mObridge / Head unit.
When it has enough charge to do that ^^^ I also find I have to cycle the power to the Head Unit.
