Anyone had one of these?
I have noticed a little bump.

Between my traps and my delts. It might be the clavicle. I am not sure if it's always been there and if I have only just really noticed it with the fat loss. I have felt no pain. I have been doing weighted dips (building slowly), DB bench presses, Hammer chest presses, hammer presses, overhead presses, BB upright rows in my training in the past 10 weeks.
I have had zero pain, zero discomfort. Shoulders still feel great...just this lil bump, which doesn't seem as prominent on the other side.
It is nothing like this

If I look in the mirror you can't see it in silhouette, the traps dip down into the delts. I can see it if I dip my head or lean back. But you can see it if a light above shines down (shadow).
I look at the below.

Could it be the coraooid process? Or a grade 1? It feels more to the front than on top. Could a grade one tear have happened with no pain, and still allow me to train heavy?
Actually I look again now and you can see the shadow on the other shoulder, it just doesn't feel as sticky outy.

Got hold of a physio tonight. It might possibly be an impingement caused possibly by weak rotator cuffs, tight pecs/lats.
Have gotten a docs appointment (which I have to change as soon as possible because of the s
te time) and also get a full consultation with the physio next week.
Pretty annoying...still wanna finish my routine this week though.

Unlikely to be anything to worry about if you're not experiencing any pain. You'd feel an impingement in your shoulder - believe me.
He tried to push on it as hard as he could, and there is no pain. I am fairly sure it isn't as prominent as it was. He said I have dominant left side traps.Looking at my routine, weighted dips might have done this?
Will cuff work allow it to recede? Along with dropping dips, and halving my shoulder volume work in the week?

A lot of muscles are involved in performing dips, but I don't think upper traps is one of them.Halb said:

I'd go light on shoulders if you're worried, don't bother with the extra shoulder work just yet.goldblum said:

The guy is very good from what I think, but he only looked at me for a few minutes, I bugged him on the floor. I am gonna set up a proper consultation next week. He mentioned traps, I am not so sure. From looking myself the bump is the ACJ. I see that dips put this under pressure. He asked me if I play some sort of sport, I don't, but maybe weighted dips did something? I'm cutting dips for the time being anyways. Numbers aren't important to me right now, though stupidly and like a lemming I was still slowly increasing the weight on lifts.http://www.ericcressey.com/newsletter169html

Yeah...even though I've just said numbers aren't important to me, it's galling to drop, but rather that that frack up my left shoulder and put me behind again. After ten weeks of solid training I feel (and look) great.Shoulders will now be reduced to one day, plus the hit they get from DB bench press on another day.
Have you any thoughts on Hammer Chest Press and issues they cause shoulders?
Dips will hit the front (anterior) deltoid hard. Especially if you're using a loaded weight belt.
On another note -
EARTH TO HALB ======> If you have a shoulder injury you should rest it until the injury is identified and a prognosis made with confidence.
However, if you really must do chest then hammer or 'bells are better than a bar. In fact you rarely get a full stretch with the hammer press so that might not involve the shoulders too much and would probably irritate an injury the least.

I haven't benched with a bar since....erm I'm not sure actually, it's been that long. Just been using DBs and chest press since my return to the gym floor. I prefer the stretch/squeeze on DBs.
I only thought of the weighted dips because it's the heaviest weight I shifted thus far, me plus 50kg.
After reading around a dozen different articles on the ACJ I don't understand why I have zero pain.

But yeah, got a docs appointment on Monday, and will try and sort the physio guy at my gym for Tuesday or Weds.
Tomorrow will be tough to do nothing.

....drat, that common sense is so annoying.
