I'm in the lucky position of being able to rip my kitchen out and start again. The design company are trying to sell me a warming drawer.

I like the idea of keeping food warm, defrosting, warming crockery and proving dough, but am worried it could end up being a glorified pan drawer if I don't fully exploit it.

Does anyone have one or have any experience of using one?

1. Do you ever bake?
2. Do you ever need to keep food warm?
3. Do you have too many pots and pans?

If you cook a lot as well as bake then it is a great thing to have. If not then you will not miss it.

What oven are you thinking of, as some have the same functionality built in for low temperature warming/defrosting etc.
