hood bolt

HI everyone can someone tell me where i can get the bolt that holds the hood in place on the inside of the griff i was removing the hood and it fell down the inside of the car tried to find it but no joy ,the one i mean is the one that screws into the body work from the cockpit you have one on each side of the car and they do up with a hex key any help would be great thanks in advance paul

Have you sorted this yet Paul? They are M8 thread x about 45mm long (from memory), dome heads. I changed mine for stainless ones when hood was replaced. Any good fixing stockist will have them in stainless (40mm should be ok). All the best, Pete

Do you mean the big bolt that acts as the hinge? It's got quite a shoulder on it hasn't it?

HI people thanks for your help i have now ordered the kit many thanks again paul i think i will change everything old to new when i get the kit many thanks again lads paul
