Zenith Insurance

Has anyone here dealt with or had a policy with Zenith insurance with regards to Porsche's ?

Its renewal time on the Turbo and my renewal with Aviva came in at £1,350 with a £1,500 excess (!).

So, I have a load of new quotes come in under £900 with £900 excess and Zenith's policy wording seems sensible enough.

I've been with them a month as they were the cheapest by far and blew away Bell who I was with beforehand.. So far so good, relatively painless process to get my policy live.

Been with Admiral multi car for several years now. Seem ok.

No experience of Zenith but seem to recollect there was quite a comprehensive review of all main car insurers in noddy magazine "What Car" recently ( last two months), which you might find useful.

Current quotes seem to be flat on last year, no increase and not discounts so, it looks like I will be sticking with Aviva.

I called Zenith and their underwriters refused to complete the quotation eventhough I spent half an hour on the phone doing all the details, I believe their underwriters are based in Gibraltar and will only confirm the policy once the U.K bods have done their bit.

Porsche use Aviva via Marsh.

Been using them since 2007 they are quite good, but nowdays have more of a computer says no strategy where as a few years ago they treated you like a human
