Hi Guys.

I am hoping someone in the MX5 know will be able to offer some help.

I am currently in possession of a 2006 MX5 2.0 Sport with 72k miles on the clock. Whilst driving at a constant speed say 50mph (Not accelerating or decelerating)there is an intermittent hesitation. The best way I could describe it is as though the rear brakes are being applied in bursts.. I do not think there is an issue with the brakes but that is the best way for me to describe it.

My thoughts are that it could be something to do with the traction control system. It does not feel like a misfire or an issue with fueling. There are no warning lights on the dash - EML or TC and when plugged into diagnostics does not show any fault codes.

Anybody experienced something similar or know someone that has?.. Any help would be greatly received!

Does it only happen at certain speeds? Feel anything through the steering wheel? Could be that the wheels need balanced.

Not necessarily just on an incline... Feels most obvious at about 40-50mph.

Does not feel like wheels need balancing.. It has me a bit stumped!
