Blocked Headlight Washer Nozzle?

One of my 9X6 fried-egg style Litronic headlight washers is faulty. There's enough pressure to lift it fully up but the flow is poor and this will be a Swiss MOT failure point for me...

Do they get blocked and can they be flushed out, or is replacement the only option?

The part is reassuringly expensive..

Probably a blocked pump pick up; take the washer bottle out and remove the pumps - there are filters in the bottle that shield the pump from debris, the filters block with a jellylike goo (washer fluid tends to settle and condense). Once the filters are clean try again

Before you do that, try jiggling a pin or piece of thin wire in the nozzle.

I was able to pry the two little 'eyeball' shaped directional jets out of the 'riser' part of the nozzle assembly and blow through them and both seem to be clear. I then retested the operation of the system and the riser bit still rises, but with a limited flow. There must be a blockage somewhere but as it is the left hand side only that is faulty, I guess I should start at that nozzle and work backwards....
