We have that exact machine (bought at Clas Ohlson in Norway before I knew they had a few shops here) and it makes perfect Norwegian waffles. Or perhaps more accurately, my wife makes perfect Norwegian waffles using that machine http://www.clasohlson.com/uk/Coline-Waffle-Maker-D...

Brilliant, that is exactly the thing I was looking for having visited Norway and Sweden on holiday. Any good Norwegian recipes you have for waffle mix? I never really look at Clas Ohlson as the nearest shop is around 30 miles away but i'm off there later! Plus Jam and cream shopping on the way home!
Norske Vafler
500g flour
100-150g sugar according to taste
1 tsp ground cardamom
3 eggs
1l full-fat milk
250g melted butter
250ml whipping cream (Whipping is closest I think. It's kremfløte in Norwegian, not quite as heavy as double cream but much thicker than single)
Mix flour, sugar, cardamom, eggs and milk.
Add melted butter and cream.
Sieve (not essential if well mixed).
Leave to stand in the fridge for at least an hour.
Heat waffle maker, add a small knob of butter and ladle in mix. Add a little butter before cooking each waffle.
Unused mix keeps for a couple of days in the fridge, as do uneaten waffles. This quantity should be enough for about 20-odd waffle circles. Good with butter, butter + jam, whipped cream+ jam, Jarlsberg + honey etc. I'm not a fan of Norwegian brown cheese, but lots of them swear by it and you can usually find it at delis over here.

I bought the Lidl machine and was very disappointed, the machine had very little depth, so the waffles were quite flat rather then the deep ones you can buy. The machine also didn't cook evenly so was hard to get uniform colour and cooking. Ended up returning it after a couple of days.
