I thought I would post a few pics from a proper enthusiast.
I wonder if anyone knows the whereabouts of the car if it still exists.

Anyhow..

Peter Cooper who has just turned 70 has just bought a v nice ex Roger Shackleton Griffith.

Peter had Griffiths and Tuscan SE's when they were new though......

"My first TVR the Blue one was the ex late Gerry marshals road car, i knew Gerry well and went to Brands hatch a lot to watch him race his Race car as well, Then went on to purchase TVR4 Long wheelbase Tuscan High performance 289 Engine only 10 ever made, mine was ex late John brittain car..another Racer and TVR Dealer in his day...terrific Car back in those days, Blew everything away on the road...never forget that 70 MPH on first gear"

Now that is a Proper enthusiast........

Hi Rich,
The cover is for the radio. Back in the day it was thought that a cover over the HT leads would help in tuning the radio. From the size of that ariel, that man loved his tunes more that the note from under the bonnet?
Cheers,
David.

Not a problem. If you look at old reviews of the S2 Vixen, you will see a flat plate on top of the lump for the same reason.
