Wheel alignment: different settings for V8V Roadster?
Discussion
I popped down to a customers' garage on the weekend who use the same kit as my local Stratstone. They set the car up, but only had settings for a V8V Coupe, not a Roadster. One of the guys there was concerned that the settings may be different for a Roadster - anyone know?
Car's a standard 2007 4.3 V8V.
Also, does anyone know of any more performance orientated settings?
From what I've found:
these are the manufacturer settings for a 4.3
Front:
camber -30’ (±5’)
castor 5° (+0.5°/-0.25°)
toe 3’ (±2’)
Rear:
camber -105’ (-1° 45’) (±5’)
toe 10’ (+5’/-0’)
these are the manufacturer settings for a Sportpack car (not sure if 4.3 or 4.7)
Front:
camber -0.7 to -0.5
caster 3.8 to 6.5
toe 0.02 to 0.08
Rear:
camber -2.1 to -1.6
toe 0.17 to 0.25
these are what someone reckoned was a good fast road setup
Front:
camber -.68,
castor 5.16
toe 1.3
Back:
camber -1.67
toe 1.8
