Hi Gary.

I'm considering new rims. Have you got any pics of these?

Nice - not that dissimilar to the Speedlines.

Nice - because as the other posters have said, aesthetically they are pretty damn close to the originally fitted wheels.

My M400 is down with Noble Motorsport just now and I'm considering either a full refurb of my original wheels - but harbour a slight concern about how they will deal with the 'split rim' chrome nuts - or a set of Compomotives.

These Team Dynamics rims have just made my decision tougher!

Hi Shaun, I've just had my original 3r rims refurbished which I will sell when I get the new ones. The reason I swapped is the quality of the originals is not great, I just don't like the idea of sticking plastic bolts to the rims... And they are a sod to get hold of.

Thanks
Gary

What wheel widths and offsets are they doing?

Shaun compomotive have gone bust for now, they will reappear somewhere under another name though.

I'm looking for another set of wheels for racing tyres so these may be an idea, wonder if I could fit wider than 10" on the rear?? smile

The rim setup is the same as the original rims. I asked about changing rim sizes a while ago and was told its a no no.

Thanks

Gary - have you gone for 18 x 8.5 or 18 x 10's?

Graham - hadn't heard the news about Compomotive but it does appear that the possibility of getting my original wheels NDT'd and refurbished, with new 'falsies' on the split rim bolt front fitted is now looking better, and as I've said before I really would prefer to go this way if I can in an effort to keep the car as original as possible.

Rgds,

Hi Shaun, aren't they 8.5 on the front and 10 on the rear as standard? This what I've gone for.

Thank
Gary

Have you seen pictures of how they (front and rear) will look with Noble dimensions? before the Speedlines got going there was a projected buy of some wheels, I forget the make, but when seen in detail the front and rears looked so different all interest faded.

They were Rota GTRs and then Grids, I tried to get both going but the difference in appearance between an 8.5" front and a 10" rear wasn't pretty. Ironically the difference wasn't required between a 9" front and 10" rear but I was shot down for suggesting we could run 9" on the front, just like most Compomotives are. Ho hum.

Didn't realize 1/2" made such a difference Robsmile How do you like the SL, would be tempting as a daily drive.
