Renew Licence Query

[TommyBuoy]

Morning,

Just a quick question, I am about to complete my DAS Motorcycle course so will shortly need to send away my licence; however, I have now received my licence renwal reminder as it 'expires' 1st December.

If I send off to add Cat A to my licence will it renew automatically or will the photocard part still expire on the 1st December?

Thanks for your help!
