I know quite often we all have negative experiences with dealers but I thought I should make everyone aware of something a little more positive.
Took the Tuscan to Hexham to have the valves reset and a tune up,throttle bodies balanced. The service was excellent and the car runs like a dream, never been so smooth and punchy.Bearing in mind I didn't buy the car from them and do all my own servicing which they are fully aware of as I buy all my parts from them, I have always been treated as if I had spent £50k or more.
Would recommend to anyone.
Thanks in particular to Gill and Richard.

indeed, Hexham are truly great dealers, we used to take our Tivs there for servicing, and we live in Derby That's how good they are.

Phil,

You must save yourself a packet doing it yourself but dont you worry about when the day comes to sell your pride and joy and people might be a cautious as it doesnt have a full TVRSH.

I am not saying you dont service it correctly but the majority of people buying cars like them to have a full TVRSH

Never really been a problem for me as I usually sell my cars to people I know and they are aware of the love and attention my cars receive.
It's not so much a money saving exercise it's just that I love working on cars and always try to get to know them inside out.I do however document everything that is done to the car down to the last detail.
I suppose I may be very lucky in that I have never looked to really sell my cars, generally people approach me first, a better situation as I have not lost any money on a car in the last ten years or more.

Cars are always for sale whenever a buyer surfaces, just adds to the fun of looking for something new.
