On a 996 mk2 GT3 how easy is it to remove the clubsport cage front section? and does it leave any lasting marks in the car?

I'm guessing you're left with at least 2 holes in the front corners of the dashboard....

A word in your shell-like if I may. If you've got holes in your dashboard, you haven't got a genuine Clubsport cage.
Removal of the proper cage will leave you with nothing more than two holes in the footwells (one passenger side, one drivers side. Blanking plugs are available to fill the voids in the carpet once the front section of the cage has been removed.

thankyou, admittedly it might have made a bit more sense to ask the question after viewing the car...

i see what you mean about where the cage meets the front floor, nowhere near the dash!

Hi,

It's very easy to do. JZM did mine for me when I bought it from them and are even storing it for me at their premises. It all looks very neat in the footwell and you can't it's been done.
