Rear clam hinge pin help needed.Lc

One of my hinge pins ran away while driving so I ordered a new on from SWLC. When it arrived I stuck it in and it barely protruded the other side so I couldn't get the R clip in.
On comparing it to the other side it looked like this.



When speaking to SWLC they forwarded it to Noble and they looked into it. They came back and said all their pins on the shelf were shorter ones and they've been selling them like that for a while.

So they are wondering if my car is different. Can a few people quickly measure their pins just to see if its just me or Noble has made them all wrong.

the noble ones are so rubbish, just a turned down socket heads bolt, I made my own

It looks like your measurements are between my old one and the new one. But a bit closer to mine id say.

I haven't checked, but I wonder if fronts are different to rears?

I've not looked at the fronts either. I'll check when I'm home on Thursday.

Noble are getting a load made up in the length for mine. They seem to think mine is an oddity but using a vernier last weekend they are the same as the ones measured above, 40mm critical length.
So whether ours are odditys or they just got the pins wrong being shorter i dont know, other than checking other peoples cars.

Mine are also 52mm /40mm
Fronts and rears are the exactly the same.

So that's 3 now. Looking like mine isn't the odd one and just that noble had the wrong parts made. They must have an M12 knocking around the factory they can measure!
