Can any willing member post me a couple of pics of the steering column exiting the bulkhead in the engine bay to help me work out the optimum position on an S2 vixen (servo type)

Andrew, is that the correct position for the clamp on the steering column? I thought they were supposed to be up against the end of the outer sleeve,. Just wondered as this could be a useful safety upgrade on he S1

Sorry mate no idea Alan bell set the car up and with his years as a race engineer I am not going to alter his set up it works extremely well that's all I know

For info, that's the same as my S3, except S3 has an extra carrier bracket - a tube with a plate welded onto it at the correct angle to match the bulkhead. The tube clamps around the outside of the column, and has 2 bolts for bulkhead.

Mine is a cable clutch but pedal box moulding looks exactly the same, just has a few extra brackets attached.
