Just filling in my order form for tickets this year and the previoulsy combined Arnage/Mulsanne parking is now separate. Is this now the case? So if you want to visit these places during the race you will need two parking tickets at 10e each? I've sent an email to the tourist office but wonder if anyone in the know is aware of changes? Or I could be just misreading the order form of course....

Well, the separation of those two are on both the English and French order form! As I have ordered a combined Arnage/Mulsanne ticket as usual, I am very curious too. Please let us know what the answer from the Tourist Office is.

Have they started charging seperately for Arnage parking? Last time I went, 2012, GA tickets got you into the field just along from the corner. Would be interested to know as we're off there next year.

I think the GA tickets got you in to Arnage and Mulsanne car parks for the practice sessions but for the Sat/Sun you needed a parking ticket. This has been the way for the last 3 or 4 years I think.

You're probably right and I forgot, it is only during practice/qualifying that we've been round there.

I've never had a problem parking in Mulsanne itself, within a few minutes walking distance of the compound entrance (Rue Pierre Mendès France), I've only been in the evening, may be busier for start. Can't speak for Arnage compound as I've not been for a few years.

We have parked at Arnarge and Mulsanne every year on Saturday night/Sunday morning (1am/4am) for the past 10 years. The guys on the gate have a quick check of our MB camping permits and wave us in every time, no issues.

I've had a reply from the LM tourist office and the Arnage and Mulsanne parking tickets are now separate. At only 10e each it's not a bad thing I guess and might save on some of the parking troubles at Arnage when everyone with a combined ticket decided to go there instead of Mulsanne.

They aren't showing as separate in the ACO members area.

This is the first i have heard about paying to park at Arnage! For the last 5 years we have been staying in Houx and going up to Arnage for Weds practice, part of thursday quali and at some point on saturday night or early hours on sunday morning and never been asked to pay or seen anyone taking money, in fact on sat night sunday/morning the carpark has always been unmanned.
We've always driven into the field carpark opposite the corner, walked across the road, showed our general admin tickets to the guys on the gates and walked onto the banking.

I guess it comes down to what level of Gaelic shrug you get when you approach the car park. Also depends how much of a jobsworth they are whether they bother checking. I've sent off my order for Mulsanne and Arnage just to be safe. Between two of us it's only about £6 each so just saves on any hassles when we get there.

Thats the thing, theres never been anybody manning the carpark when we've been to Arnage !

I wouldn't bother buying tickets unless you want to get in there on saturday morning for the start !
