I can eat a box of 12 in 3 minutes.

Managed 48 in 17 minutes. Office champion!

I'm working up towards eating the giant one in a single session.

You're a long way off the world record of 17 in a minute:

I thought it wasn't a very good effort too, I think I could eat one in about 5 seconds flat. How long I could keep that pace up for is another matter though, I believe I could do 12 in 1m 30s, that's 1 cake every 7.5s wobble

got to have ice cold milk with them, 1 box is just not enough that's why they come in a twin box :-)
once opened you have to eat them or they go off, well that's my excuse

I'm going to try this later. I'm expecting to beat the OP's 3 minutes but I am not sure where this burst of confidence has come from.

I also think I may be slightly remorseful about not savouring the Jaffa goodness.

And to the OP, for mentioning the giant Jaffa Cake which I then Googled and will certainly seek out next time I am in Tesco, I salute you.

Just polished off the big one, could easily do that in one hit.

12 in 3mins is easy.

After 48 the orangyness gets a bit much.
