Hello All

I keep getting a flat battery on my Vantage for some unknown reason and the Dealer did not find any issues and say battery is fine and taking a good charge. There is no drain in it either. Battery was also replaced in April.

As this is an intermittent issue I am going to buy myself a boost pack so I can jump start it without waiting for AA.

Any suggestions on which one to buy? I have seen some in halfords but they are only up to 2L engine and doubt it would be sufficient for the V8.

Any advice would be great.

Kind Regards
ScottK

I understand your desire for a workaround, but either the battery must be crap, or it's not being charged, or it's being drained when the car is not running - one of those things must be true, right?

Did the dealer fit the battery?

To actually answer your question, there's a thread here with some recommendations: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=...
And an Auto Express article here: http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/accessories-tyres/637...
