My rear lights on the drivers side aren't working, and when I indicate right its about twice as fast as normal! Passenger side everything is fine. Is this likely to just be a fuse?
Bit dark now so will look more tomorrow.

Also, having some issues with battery maintaining voltage. Its a pretty new battery fitted this year, but it's not lasting very long at all. It normally sits plugged into a c-tek in the garage but I left it a week and it went almost flat. So charged it and all fine, then I left it 24 hours not plugged in and didn't have enough power to start the car this afternoon. Is it possible something is drawing power when the car is off?
Is there a possibility these 2 issues are linked?

Cheers
Paul

light sounds like a bad earth to the light cluster. Not sure, but if there's a connector inside the light unit give that a clean. Otherwise, trace the look back and see where it earths.

Can't see how the 2 are linked, other than on some cars there's a park feature where if you leave the indicator on with the ignition off it keeps the lights on on that side. If there was some kind of short, and you left the indicator on...
It's so implausible that it's not really worth considering though.

Yep bad earth, remove cluster and clean contacts.

Take a photo of what lead goes where so it goes back together properly. The bad earth could have something to do with battery as it could be a constant partial short. Bit like leaving a light on?

Ok so have had the light apart and cleaned up all connections but still nothing mad
The wiring to the cluster isn't showing any obvious damage, so am at a bit of a loss! Think I might have to get it to someone with a bit more of an idea than me

Don't know wether it's important but I have had to change all of the relays in the passenger footwell this year , lots of strange electrical issue , turned out the relays were just worn out causing the issues !!

Did you check the connector in the rear, where the rear clam wiring attaches to the main body harness? A bad pin there could be causing your taillight/fast flashing problem. Also, check the bulbs to make sure that one isn't out.
