How far have you cycled in your lifetime?

Only started commuting seriously back in May, since then 650 miles plus another 300 or so leisure rides before that I guess

just about to tick over 20,000 miles, but that is only the mileage I've logged with strava in the last 2 years, so I would imagine in my lifetime probably nearer 40,000 as I rode a lot as a kid! I will be interested to see in ten years time if I've cracked the Strava 100,000 (be 36 then!)

I fitted mileometer to my Peugeot when I bought it in 1985, a year or so later I upgraded to a Cateye computer The mileometer had clocked up 2500 miles in the year it was attached to the bike, the Cateye clocked up 11500 between 1986 and 1991 when I stopped cycling. Before I had a driving licence I cycled everywhere on my BSA Tour de France racer and I remember seeing my speedometer turning over 20000 miles before selling it. Then there are all the unmeasured miles and the shop runs that were never counted, so I would guess somewhere in the region of 40k for me

Honestly don't know, but strava totalled 6500km last year, and I've already exceeded that this year!
