Had enough today, I am off out in the wedge for some therapy. Any Northern wedgers in need of similar therapy I will be out in half hours time. Short notice but if anyone fancies meeting up for a cuppa.

Are you still going to post pics of your suspension mods from TVR or did I miss something?

I know what you mean - I got to 5 past 5 and was feeling a bit crappy. Having to do my timesheets for the past 3 weeks didn't help...

Drove home from the orifice and now I feel fine!

Long live the Wedge.

Well i'm not planning on Sorning this year, so happy to meet up any other weekend or week day (except wed and fri as i have the kids).
I'm still happy to fire down south on sunday. just finished sorting out the TT, it could do with a run, i'm not keen on taking the wedge out in the wet, but will hooning around the borders in the TT over the weekend if you want.

First run out in the TT this morning and it breaks! Immobiliser kicks in on a dual carraigeway at 40mph. everything cut out. no power. no hazards. central locking locked. lucky i had the roof down to climb out. So the audi is off for sunday.
Got home. jumped in the TVR, 50 miles, started first time, didnt miss a beat. Blackpool 1 Huns 0.

Who in their right mind would design an immobiliser that can function when the wheels are turning?! I've never had an immobiliser problem on my Wedge...

RV8 prefers the cooler weather, also gearbox improves, can be baulky into 2nd when hot. Needed gloves this morning though

Agreed. the worst bit was the central locking, if the roof wasnt down i'd still be there. to be honest it probably isnt the german engineering at fault but my own fettling around with the wiring.
