I'd also recommend goldtrack but if you have money burning in your pocket then RMA are also very good.

I've just done one with BookATrack, aside from the 3rd driver costs, i have no complaints and it all went very well on the day.

It depends what your budget is, Goldtrack are well run and limit cars nicely but are expensive. As a result you're more likely to share the track with people who actually care about their cars and you will also have a good number of nice cars on track with you.

If you go for the other end of the market, you'll get a cheaper day but will be potentially sharing the track with a lot of new trackdayers and less well-kept cars. It's not snobbery, it's just a fairly reasonable assumption that someone buying a 328i to chuck around a track because it's cheap to run and cheap to fix that they're less likely to turn up to a £250-£300 trackday because it's 1/4 the value of the car!

Just to say however that my most recent trackday was an evening at Donnington in an R300 with Bookatrack and it couldn't have gone better.

I'm a BaTman as well. Very well run, usually very high standard of driving and money back guarantee if you have to wait to get out on circuit. Other things you need to consider - do you want Open Pit Lane or Sessions with othe newbies (or advanced drivers depending on which you are). What sort of circuit do you want to drive at? If you're new to track-days then OPL at Cadwell or Oulton probably would not be a good introduction; somewhere like Bedford might be a better option. Also venue and noise limits might came into play and all of these considerations will determine which company you end up using.

I started at Bands Hatch as it's small and not as fast as some of the other tracks. I went with MSV as they do novice days but as mentioned you get a mix of slow and fast cars from saxo's to errr Nobles smile

Ditto, brands hatch is a good fun circuit for novices and more experienced drivers, although as with any trac day it can be operator dependent. I did a lotus on track evening at Brands which was well run, but also done several MSV days/evenings which can have the good, bad and ugly. To be fair you can get this at any circuit with any operator, but generally pleased with Goldtrack and BookaTrack.

Only ever been to castle Combe in my Elise and reckon the noble might be a bit quick ther, where. Is a bit slower for a novice who doesn't want to own a wreck!
