My New 2013 Vantage S
Discussion
This photo of my new V8 Vantage S was taken on the proposed 2014 New Jersey USGP F1 road course in West New York, NJ... This car is British Racing Green over Chestnut hides and it replaced my 2007 Vantage (in goodwood green over red fox /black hides). It's remarkable how transformed and developed the car has become. I'm loving every minute of driving it.

Another shot in front of my home in NJ... The color comes across more goodwood green in this photo due to the intensity of the light. I do prefer the goodwood green color variant over british racing green... but then again I didn't spec this car out rather I found it at an Aston dealer in Washington DC... Lots of carbon fiber on this car. I like the red calipers too. I've owned many sports cars (including a 2008 Audi R8, 1998 C5 Vette, 2002 Carrera 2, 2005 Boxster S, 1997 Rx7, 2007 V8 Vantage... also Lancia Scorpion, Fiat X1/9 and Toyota MR2) and this Vantage S is by far my favorite

The old car at Lime Rock park in CT... where I posted a 1:08 which was 4 seconds faster than the prior year in the same car. I can't wait till I get the Vantage S on the track.

The lack of carbon and just silver wheels really top that off perfectly.
You have great taste in Aston colours!

You are so lucky not to have a front number plate,it looks so so much better and the colour looks great in this pic.
Well... we do in NJ... it's just that I choose not to run the car with the front plate. My local police like me (who knows why)... Old car updated with a 2012 V12 Vantage front grill & Vantage S wheels... looks the same but the 2013 is an entirely different car (more refined and so much faster). Of note: The guy who spec'd this car deleted the S suspension for the regular suspension... works for me especially in New Jersey!

I've already purchased an aluminum side strake as it "sets off" the side of the car better. (anyone want a good deal on my old carbon fiber side strakes?) I also prefer the smaller side view mirrors of the older car... I do like the carbon fiber front and rear though.

Wise move.... The side strakes shout AM.... So they need to stand out IMO...
