Yep, that's too cheap!

Interior looks tatty and must have more history than you would like.

This is a dealer selling it too and if he could make a quick buck then he would so this must be a pup! Otherwise he'd have it up for 15-16K

Agreed, on the register or a mis print.

Talking of which. there's a 2003 4.5 cat c on autotrader @ £25k.

That seems good value.

Doesn't look like a misprint as it looks like the board on the footwell says 10,995. Could be 19,995 though (but who'd pay that for an N-reg?).

Even if it's on HPI it's cheap enough to be interesting... and the ad does say it's got ABS (ho ho!)

RAC Data Check said:

Manufacturer: Tvr
Model: CERBERA
Body type: coupe
Colour: Blue
Fuel type: Petrol
Date manufactured: 30 December 1996
Number of previous owners: 4
Last owner change: 25 October 2003

If only you could get a free online HPI check...

Quite tempted to snap it up. If it turns out it's a lemon, take it back claiming it's not got ABS.

It does amaze me that some people sell at such low prices, when I found mine I had three friends all say "the price is too low", but the owner didn't know the market, didn't read Sprint or know about PH, even better Rob Ingleby knocked another £1500 off the already low price

Mind you a dealer should have a better idea than most - I'd say he's had it in against a 911/M3 looking at the current stock and is pricing it to sell as TVRs are outside his usual marques.

Previous owner probably bought it for a cheep supercar but I'd guess hasn't been able to afford to maintain it properly.

The dealer is probably still making a good margin at this price though

The fact that this is on the trader's website makes it all the more astonishing. The guy must have looked at all the other cheapest cars on there (around the £16k mark) & thought "right, I'll stick it in for £11k"

Very strange......

And the bloke selling it was flogging cars on PH recently. When I asked him if he was a trader or a private seller, he claimed private seller, selling cars for mates etc.

Then someone sent me his trader website. He never replied to my email when I removed all his 'private' ads.

well the Red HF Turbo in the background of the ebay photo looks a lot like the red HF Turbo on the dealers page, so I'd guess it's the same chap
I'd say it's dodgy unless you know exacty what your looking at/for

It is - traders will buy from where-ever they feel they can make money - even another trader.. not a bad mark-up considering when I wanted to sell my CLK, Mercedes offered me £18K and had one on the forecourt for £25K..
