So, having washed and watched others washing these cars the brake discs do not appear to rust as you watch as the 987/997 series did.

Anyone else noticed this 'improvement'. It is welcome as the others were a pig if left wet.

Okay PCCB is the way to go really but at what (such) cost!

I don't think so (although I'm not exactly sure which cars you think have more rusty discs).

I can attribute it to the pointless drilled discs - I have had exactly the same rusty drilled disc tendencies in my Elise. Not any other car. Just made sure to use the car reasonably regularly (which would be once a week or more).

The discs on my 2004 986 would rust pretty damn fast if I ever put the car away without drying them first - which I don't.

My point exactly, you used to be able to watch them rust. They don't appear to do that now.....
