Go to Black Circles for prices, appx £110 each for 245 45 ZR16 on my Chimaera 450 (rears).
These are very different tyres to B.stones having much more flexible side walls and need an extra 3/4 psi to compensate. Grip in the wet and dry v good. Have just returned from v. wet track day at Kirkiston NI with no problems, this set have covered 6K miles so far, about half worn.
Take care at first until you are used to their slightly squirmy nature.
At present I have SO2's on the front 225 45 ZR 16's, no not 15's, but will be fitting Proxes when the time comes (v soon)

There is a a £10 per tyre refund on at the moment from Toyo :O)

some have had their complaints, but i've done about 15k on toyos, run a couple of psi up on standard for bridgestones. NFF
i ran bridgestones as well, and frankly couldn't tell the difference, aside from the tramlining wasn't nearly so bad with the toyos. dry/wet grip comparable IMO, toyos cheaper

The TVR fitment ones are slightly different!
Toyo worked with TVR to come up with a "special" compund of rubber specifically designed to go with TVRs.
I went from S02s front, SO3s rear to a full set of Proxes for £328 for my Chim 400 and agree with the previous posters - at first they don't seem much cop, but take the tops off them with a few miles and they're vastly better.
I wore them down quickly..... at Oulton Park

Recently got new T1S's just on the back of my Chim. as has been said above, take it very easy for he first 1k or so.
The difference I found was that wet or dry they didn't go as quickly as the Bridgestone so2s I had on before but when they did it seemed a lot more snappy and quick. The Bridgestones seemed to be a lot more controllable when they did go but they went sooner...if you see what I mean

Had Eagle F1s, Proxes, S02s, and S03s on my Tivs. Summary (in my opinion)
S02s were great in the dry, not bad in the wet, but wore quickly, and were expensive
S03s - as good as S02s in the dry, worse in the wet, and lethal for the first 500-1000 miles
Eagle F1s - Good all-round tyres. Not run them long enough to check wear-rate
Proxes - Same as the F1s, only better in the wet in than F1s.
Generally buy online & pay someone to fit them.

The T1S TVR Fitment is Y rated, the T1S is Z rated for starters.
hmm. got a pair on mine 3 months ago... just specified T1S... better check it has the right ones then.. :-/
