External suction mount cams

Do TDOs allow these? I know they don't inside the car, but haven't seen any reference to external.

Generally it seems the T&Cs say no but I've run my GoPro on the outside of my car on a few days and not had anyone telling me to remove it.

It will vary between venues and TDO's. Generally we're OK with it as long as there is a secondary tether.

Thats pretty much my experience. Never been questioned at Blyton for instance but not even been allowed suction mounts inside the car at Oulton.

What Jonny said. As long as there's a secondary fastening all ok with us, but local circuit rules may not allow it. Castle Combe and Donington are ok with this arrangement.

No secondary tether, no issue.

Oulton have never let me use suction. Always had to bolt it on the top bar with an exhaust clamp.
