Once more..
Although.. More of a dilemma..
Do I go for Goodyear Asymmetric on the front (235/40) and replace my Toyo T1 Sports on the rears when they die, with Asymmetric 2's (Miss-matchish)
Or just go for the matching Toyo T1 Sports up front..?
I can see arguments for both sides..
17" flavour btw.

The advantage of the Goodyears is that they're excellent tyres.
The advantage of Toyos is that they're cheap.
My 17s are wearing the Goodyears. The tread patterns are very close front and rear. Even the slight mismatch is still much better than any road Toyos I've ever tried. If the new T1Sports, which I haven't tried, are even close to the Goodyears then Toyo have improved massively. That would be a very big jump to make in one tyre model. The T1Rs were sh*te.

IMO some cheap tyres are very good for the money, however you do get what you pay for in most cases. Goodyear / Michelin etc are usually excellent tyres, but you pay for it, I thought T1Rs were ok, but are good value for what you pay. I have some cheap ones on mine ATM but they do have their limits, but are good value for money, esp when using for track days and learning the car.

My OCD tendancies are annoying..
On the brink of ordering the Goodyears, but also looking at the Conti Sport 3's now.. Goodyears are critisised for high drag (fixed for the 2's). Conti's won more tyre tests.. However I seem to remember them "going off" on a mate's E30 on a lap of the Nurburgring..
Wish they still did the Hankook RS2..

I've used Conti's for a while now on my other car (Audi), and while the performance is good, I find them very noisy.
I realise that may sound like a joke for a Cerb, but I'd rather listen to the exhaust note than tyre hum!
Yeah seen a few noise comments levelled at the Conti 3's..I realise that may sound like a joke for a Cerb, but I'd rather listen to the exhaust note than tyre hum!

I've got SC3s on my Audi S4 (ok ok so not a direct comparison). Decent enough tyre but I will be changing back to the Goodyears (as on the Cerb) come replacement time in the Spring. On the brink of ordering the Goodyears, but also looking at the Conti Sport 3's now..
