So the police seem to be a bit slow off the mark catching these key thiefs and when they do get caught the penalty is no real deterrent.

When they do secure a conviction.....this is what happens...

Come on really, would you consider letting him out after such and offence, even more so given the attitude towards it.

Must add surprised that Annella Cowan was the sheriff as I had some dealings with her in ordinary claims court and found her to be brutal!

Either that is was her bad week!

This to me highlights just how badly the legal system has deteriorated when this man is allowed out on bail. How can this possibly be justified. He was caught harming a baby for Christ's sake! Do they think he'll just go home and be a good boy?

The same courts are jailing drivers for travelling too fast on the motorway!!

Its unbelievable to be honest, the child was 3 weeks old and the injuries obviously took a fair bit of venom.

Something far far wrong why this sick boy gets to walk the streets for background reports.

I would have had a mental health report done on him and had him kept secure for any further reports

There was much heated debate over this, including references to past cases. Despite this I would still fight the Fiscal tooth and nail if they attempted to charge me with Dangerous on the assumption that it was simply due to my speed. Utter nonsense!

Go to Jail if you make some smoke.... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-tayside-cent...

I've seen more smoke outside Aberdeen Maternity Hospital!

Better off house breaking and robbing cars, I mean easier to kill someone with a smokebomb than it is a robbed car driven by a ned with no respect for anything, himself included!
