Cannonball Run

[_rubinho_]

Sea to shining sea in 28 hours 50 minutes Ed Bolian has smashed Alex Roy's 31 hour 4 minute coast to coast record set in 2006. He drove a Mercedes CL55 AMG with two 22 gallon (83 litre) additional fuel tanks. They stopped three times! The Jalopnik write-up is not as poetic as Wired's article on Roy's effort but it's a fantastic effort nevertheless. Let's salute this hero (criminal?)! The less said about the bedpans, the better!

Dammit! Despite being redundant though, my post was better!
