Dealers not quoting mileages in adverts
Discussion
I'm getting fed up with Dealers not quoting mileages in their adverts online. It's not just one car here and there that has the missing info but some dealers do it with all adverts for their stock.
Sure there is the old adage, buy on condition. But without mileage how do you know if it is in good condition for the mileage?
More importantly I want to know if the car is creeping up to a major service or a cambelt change.
Richard Heads.

I agree.
I used to bother enquiring when there was none stated. Now I don't even bother and just click the back button on my browser.
To this I would also add the infuriating habit of 'accidentally' completely mis-quoting the mileage along the lines of: "12500 miles" when in reality it's 125000 either to generate false interest or to fly under the radar of a mileage filter on a website search.

Don't worry about it. Just work with dealers who do quote the mileage then.
There are plenty of cars out there, and plenty of dealers. It's not something I would get too worked up about.
Yep, if there's info missing from an advert then I just don't bother with it and I'll move on to the next one. There are plenty of cars out there, and plenty of dealers. It's not something I would get too worked up about.
I brought a car in Thailand and your pretty lucky to come across a dealer that states the mileage.
My biggest headache ever buying a car
