Hi, looking for some recommendations for a good garage for a service for my Boxster 986s. Its only a minor service which is required but as it has a full Porsche and specialist service up to now I would like to keep this trend going.

Also, I have just changed all the suspension arms and was going to book it in for a full Geo, I have heard good things about Moorfield in Kilmarnock. Anyone have any opinions on them?

Cheers for your help

Hi, I stay in North Ayrshire too & when I had my 968 CS I used Motortune in Shotts. It's a bit of a way to travel but Peter there does a great job and would highly recommend.

Mike.

CLCM in Sighthill are good for geo but again a bit of a trek from the west.

moorfield at kilmarnock is run by andrew gallacher the well known rally driver and son of drew gallacher the scottish rally champion. Have seen a lot of his work inc the awesome 1k bhp focus. has a good reputation on race/rally stuff, good rolling road and all his hear looks good

Stuart at SP Autobahn in Stirling for servicing and repairs. Progrip for geometry, John is one of the best and his knowledge is superb.

Stuart does all the work on my rs4 although he is a porsche specialist. John for setup.

When I had Porsches Motortune in Shotts was the only place I would go. Peter is a gent and has huge brand knowledge.

Very reasonable as well.

I found that the problem with them was if you're not one of his regular customers, you'll probably not get seen. That's what happened to me there. Great for his regulars, but not so good for one of customers.
