I love a 360 CS as much as the next man, but this is getting a little silly now. Cannot remember the chap's name on CS off hand, but he's effectively created his own manual CS out of a standard car. Few years back I seem to remember him saying that he could have easily bought a 'real' CS for the amount he's spent....not sure that'd still be the case.

Given the way current CS prices 'appear' to be going (I say appear as who knows what people are actually paying for them), there's def got to be an argument that if you're going to put some miles on one and aren't after the 'kudos', you may be better off building your own like he did. You're not adding that much value with the mods, but you'll likely end up with an even better drivers car, you'll sure as hell lose a lot less in depreciation if you drive it and you can always sell the tasty parts separately afterwards should you choose to move on

No way is a silver CS worth over £100K more than a similar age red Modena. That'll be there for ages at that price!

And it was '360Trev' who converted his Modena to look like a CS.

I think 'look like a CS' is a bit unfair - CS turned up to 11 more like and with a manual box.

Supply and demand.

There ONLY needs to be 1 id.ot out there willing to pay over the odds so they can name their price.

I love the CS but only at £100k, these sorts of premiums are only going to lead to someone getting seriously burnt fingers.

I'm not brave enough for that but some "collector" may come along to add to the CS garage queen club

Were two-tone grey dash/airbag panels standard on these, or just the really expensive ones?

biggrin

+1

I've read the thread a few times on fchat. That car is something else. Much lighter than a CS, only 30 lb/ft less torque than a scud, revs to 9500, better brakes and lighter wheels, and to top it all of, a proper manual!

Quite simply one of my favourite Ferrari's smile.
