hi there I am thinking of buying some wheel dollys or skates to make the car easier to move in a tight space .the ones that you jack the car up and put them under the wheel.my question is .is it ok to leave them under the car for long periods of time.ie will it affect the tyres.

If the skate/dolly platform is flat,I would imagine it would be the same effect as being on the ground.smile

wheel bed is curved so shouldn't damage tyres unless you leave them on for years.

If you're worried about flat spotting your tyres because you're leaving it standing over winter then over pressure them.

The guy at my local tyre place stores cars in his warehouse. He told me he puts up to 60psi in the tyres to stop them flatting. Usually my car has it's wheels off over winter, but this year I'll put at least 40psi in mine while it stands over winter because i won't be working on it.
