Bristol cars- any other owners out there???

If any other folk on here have a Bristol could they please post some pics.......
You don't see too many on the road but I love Bristol's- my dream model would be a 404
but sadly prices have gone mental in the last few years.........

Sold this a good few years back - 411 Series 5, wonderful car, 400c.i. V8... Apparently the chap I sold it to had Bristol fully recondition it after which it won the national concours.

I have a 1970 411 series 1 which I bought from it's original owner in 1986.

Thought I'd bump this thread as I am considering a Bristol as my next classic after I've sold a couple of my other cars.
Any new owners on here, specifically 411 S1 & 2 and Britannia/Brigand experience?
I dropped into a Wiltshire based Bristol dealer/workshop recently and they were kind enough to show me around and take me for a short drive in a 411. I rather liked the experience and feel of the car on the road. Alas I didn't drive it.
I am actually in the US, so I'd want one with AC and I believe the Britannia/Brigand's had this as standard. There don't seem to be any LHD examples of this variant either, but not too worried about that.

Are they that well screwed together compared to other cars of that era? As blasphemous as this may sound but are they that much better build quality and reliability than say a Rover P5b coupe, Jaguar XJ6 S1? (I am a sucker for the wood and leather, gentleman's club interiors) Parts availability OK for things like suspension and brakes? Obviously being in the US the engine and gearbox shouldn't pose any problems for maintenance.
