Diesel problem in the North east

Seems to be a big problem with Diesel being sold in the north east.I was using ASDA and my 3008 has to go in for a filter change after it was fitted 9 months ago.
Anyone had similar problem?

is it a 1.6 hdi?

I used to have a 1.6 tdci Fiesta (same engine) and 2 weeks after a FRAM fuel filter was fitted it failed, causing the car to repeatedly stall under all acceleration.

Replaced with a genuine ford part and it was fine

Im in co durham and the fuel filter in my now departed evoque blocked after 6000miles, mainly tesco fuel used. Its not the same 2.2 diesel engine is it?
