hi Simon
i've had both tyres on various cars but not on the tuscan S.The goodyear went really well on my T350T,
Had the others on a mini cooper S running 247bhp and it handled like it was on rails.
Pilots were great in rain.

Toyo R1Rs are the grippiest TYRES for the road.

Did I say tyres, (anti American spelling mode off). wink

I'm running the goodyear eagles. 225 35 18s front and 235 40 18s rear.

I can't draw any comparisons but AFAIC they provide good traction and cornering grip in both wet and dry conditions.

OK, so I've just pulled a nail out of one of my tyres - right near the wall, so it's a new tyre. I have Goodyear Eagle F1's on there so am planning to replace with the same. I've just been quoted £165 each inc VAT - is that about right or a tad expensive?

Secondly, what tyre presure should I set them to? I'm sure the tyre place won't have a clue....

Thanks - and apologies for hijacking the thread... but it is a related question.... kinda... }redface)

I've been getting my tyres from a place over the road from me and they have always quoted a better price than Black Circles and the like. I see you are Reading also so might be worth giving them a call?

My Tuscan had Toyo's all round when I got it 3 months ago but on Saturday I had to replace one due to an errant nail piercing it. Whilst getting it changed I was told that Toyo's are a good "economy" tyre.

Is this true?
