My wife's Honda Jazz had it's passenger door swing open violently recently and smack into a low wall right on the edge of the door. It got caught by a gust of wind

The door now closes but the top of the door doesn't sit quite flush with the body and rainwater now gets in making the seat wet.

Any advice? I'm guessing it probably needs a new door?

Dunno what to to do for the best really. A new door?

Other people have suggested winding the window down, and then trying to bend the top half of the door inwards....I'm scared of trying this. I've no idea how much force to use and if it would actually move, or if it did could it bend too far and snap off (kinda dumb thing I would do......I can imagine my wifes face if I snapped her door in two! biggrin)

What you have been told is correct. You won't have enough strength to do any damage to it.

Lower the window. Grab the top corner of the door with your left hand, and about midway along the top with your right hand. Then give it a pull. It may make a creaking/cracking noise. Keep doing it till it looks right.

It may be best to try grabbing the bottom of the door and the top, pulling the bottom out and pushing the top in. As it sounds as though the bottom has been pushed in hard, making the top come away.

Wrap a packing strap round the top of the door and get a few mates round and pull it straight. You wont snap the door.
