Decent ball joints / parts in general

My Civic needs a few suspension components refreshing before this years MOT - 2 ball joints, 2 track rod ends and a top mount. I've spoken to my mechanic friend, but he seems to think that most of the parts his suppliers offer are of sub-OEM quality, and the gaiters will split after only a matter of months.
I've had a look online, and a lot of places sell Febi Bilstein and Moog parts, but I've read mixed reviews of both.
OEM parts are out of the question, as Honda only offer the whole assembly at around £200+VAT per side.
So the question is - who makes good ball joints/track rod ends that won't disintegrate after a few months and where can I find them
?
