Ted

I have tried to update my profile with a picture of my new Griff. I have clicked the browse button and gone to the correct file, clicked open then update. After updating, the old picture is still showing. Am I missing a step out?

Cheers Paul.

Looks ok from here, suspect it might be worth cleaning out your temporary internet files and having another look..

Does look like ted's anti-hotlinking isn't working though, or alternatively, he's allowed hotlinking within PH..

If you replace the picture you need to shift-refresh to see the new pic yourself.

Anti-hotlinking now only prevents hotlinking from outside of PH.

Dumb question:
What's hotlinking?

Hotlinking is effectively pinching an image on the web for usage elsewhere..

Ted had some software in place to stop "hotlinking" from PH, which unfortunately meant that we couldn't link to our own profile pictures.. This software has now been updated to allow linking within PH..

So, I could make a post here and link to a picture on my website and it would display, but, could not link to a picture on PHeads from my own website?
Cunning.
