I saw a stunning Metallic Maroon Espada Series 3 in Old Windsor a couple of weeks ago.
First one i have seen on the road since seeing a White one in Londons St. Martins Lane in early 1976 !

All ways wanted one of these.

At the risk of sounding political, now its privately owned can we expect all deliveries to be done in quality classics??? Air freight bt DH Dove or VC10, haulage by Scammel or AEC, town to town by Morris J type or mk1 transit, and postie delivery by lambo, maserati, etc etc biggrin

What a wonderful world that would be, the one we grew up in frown

Although postie used a Minor van rather a Lambo. The district nurse used to turn up a nice little MG though, and the fish was delivered by A35 van.

Paul Mcartny owning one seems to ring a bell.

Seeing that Maroon S3 in Old Windsor really made my day, we were taking a walk along the river when suddenly we heard and then saw it. As it passed by the driver looked over as I said out loud " Espada " ! Surrounded by modern tin it just looked and sounded fantastic.

I have a road test which was carried out by the late / great " Jenks " for Motor Sport magazine, must dig it out.

There was also a superb Silver one at the NEC last year.

Badly damaged Muira S for £3,000 in the early 80s.

Oh and a very nice ( but cheap re paint ) UK RH Drive 73 M registered Porshe 911E in that lovely pale yellow, that i missed in 82 for £3,500. It is the only one i have ever seen in that color, they are huge money now.....If Only !
