yellow teeth

Does anyone suffer with stained teeth?

I didnt care about teeth for about a year and i slacked on my dental regime but i brush properly now and use mouthwash, although my teeth look cleaner they still have yellow stains on them (not plaque), whats the best way to remove them?

No very expensive options lol

Someone mentioned these i will try, i dont want them to be mega bright just a bit less yellow

Get your dentist to make a set of gumshields and use the bleaching agent he sells you. It'll cost you about £250-£300 but it will look terrific, you can refresh it every six months or so at minimal cost and...it works. All these other 'tooth-whitening' products really don't work.

Before lining your dentists pockets with your hard earned I would try a different mouthwash.

Some actually stain your teeth. Can t remember if its Corsodyl or Peroxyl which is worst!?

If you have fair or dare I say it Ginger hair, your teeth will be blessed to be more yellow than usual, sorry.....

Cant remember the name, i'll have to look them up.

Also, dont drink tea, coffee or eat anything strongly coloured for a good 48 hours after using them.

My dentist said it's either mouthwash or tea, but it doesn't really bother me.

I'd start with a visit to the hygienist. Often the yellowing is caused by tartar (calcified plaque) which is very hard to remove. Your hygienist should have a (fine) sand blaster type tool which removes it.
Following that start to use peroxydyl mouthwash, the peroxide has a whitening effect.
I would do the above before attempting any professional whitening. No point whitening if our teeth have tartar.

If he went to a dentist for whitening, they would spot the tartar/plaque and remove it anyway.
