S2 time clock loosing 1 hour per week

Hi all

My S2 is ready for its mot Saturday but one thing that's starting to fail is the analogue clock, seems to be loosing 1 hour a week.
Would any of you kind folk have a spare one lurking in a box of bits I could purchase that's in good working order?

Yes battery newish plus always on trickle charge.

It's perfectly normal, it's the effect of time dilation when travelling at speeds approaching the speed of light ( C ). If you drive it often, you will still be young when your grandkids are middle-aged. Trust me on this.
If Albert Einstein had an S, he would only be 27 today.

As Glen and I both know too well, as you get older time will go faster anyway so the clock is the least you need to worry about!!!!!!! These days I need a revcounter to keep track of the passing of days

Amen to that, time flies indeed.

I can't believe it's last Tuesday already.....

I popped down to the petrol garage last night to fill the tank and I'm sure as I was walking back to her I could see some water dripping down from the chrome headlamp bezels must of been tears!!

You’re selling the ‘S’ and you’re worried about the clock loosing time? Have you re-set it forwards to BST by mistake? Seriously, I doubt if any prospective owner will be concerned about something like that. After all you can’t see the stupid thing when you’re driving anyway.

I might have a go at taking it apart then change the Flux Capacitor, what ever that is.

Or it might just need a squib of machine oil or WD 40 ( other lubricants are also available )
Works on my clocks at home.
