My Son's got a 2001 Punto 1.2 ELX, old car but in good condition and been reliable cheap transport.

Recently the heater fan's stopped working, I had a quick look and fuses etc. all OK so need to get deeper into it. Just wondering if it's a known or common problem that anyone might be able to shed any light on?

Otherwise it's time to start dismantling...

TIA.

Hi

It is usually the heater resistor pack or less commonly some burnt out writing loom.

See here for how to fix

To update, the 2-way connector on the fan motor was broken and one of terminals making poor contact. Took the plug off and fitted new connectors, job done.

Many thanks for the pointer. thumbup
