Whilton Mill - what a blast

Had an excellent day's Karting at Whilton Mill yesterday - my first time in proper 80mph outdoor Karts. What a blast!
Still ache like a b*****d at the moment - those things are physical!
If you get the chance do try the track. Very smooth, beautifully made rumble strips and grass reinforcment...and for a novice like me very safe. The standard of driving was excellent that day - proper non-contact sport.
If you got it wrong and span (only three times!) the consequences weren't terrifying either. You spin, you stop. You go!
Highly recommended.
