I don't mean for the track day!! I mean for Monday, in case he needs to order parts to fix it.....DOH!
What with this and your oil leak, somebody up there wants to spoil your fun, it seems to me.
Good luck getting it fixed.
Let me know if you get stuck without transport and i can pick you up and drop you off at home. I will be working in the Cambridge area Monday to Wednesday, so will probably be over-nighting it there anyway.

Are you going at least to get him to have a look on Monday?
Yep, getting it up on the ramps for a few minor jobs so will have a lookee lookee then
Fingers crossed for a good forecast. If it dries out enough, you are welcome to do some laps on my 888s to experience the difference they make on a dry track. I will have a jack and a wheel gun with me, and we can practice out pit crew routine, see if we can change four wheels and tyres in less than 3.0 hours, like the F1 boys

That goes for anyone else who wants to experience track rubber - it does make a serious amount of difference (once warmed up).

So that's two negatives on the Helix fitted to big bhp/torque cars
I'm sure one of the more recent threads suggested a John Eales clutch (Sapper?)... I'll have to do some digging.. in the meantime any suggestions/experience with uprated clutch muchly welcome..
Still can't believe how long the original clutch has lasted, wasn't badly worn when engine rebuilt so we put it back in.. that was over 10,000 miles ago... Shirly two runs up the Pod didn't knacker it.. or maybe they were the final straw etc.....

Thanks A, and by the way chaps I've booked a garage (guess it's in the pit lane?) so if anyone needs to fiddle and it's hissin down it'll be open to all
Good man.
I fitted a standard 5.0 clutch from Power in my 4.6.
It lasted about 15 TDs, 15K miles and 1 drag day.
I apparently have a McLeod 2 plate clutch fitted to the 5.5.
Apparently again there are different sizes and mine is the medium sized one.

Can't complain really if its wear and tear, but why does it have to start a week before a track day?
