As the title - bought new ones with clear glass but they don't have the internal reflector lens of the originals. Will the lens come out or have I bought the wrong part? Bought from Landrover series part aeu1375 military side lamp lens front late type.

Had the same issue when I fitted my clear lenses. Couldn't get the reflector out of the old orange ones (well I probably could have but I'd have wrecked it) so just fitted the clear lens.

Looks OK and has passed MOT's no problems.

problem is, without the reflector, they look dull... but to get them out you have to cut them open around the crimped metal bit and then seal them back together once fitted.

If dullness is the only problem, can't you just stick some reflective foil in there? Bit of 3m foil tape on every surface?

The clear ones with reflectors are now very hard to get hold of, and most sellers on Ebay just sell the plain ones at silly prices.
Always best to ask them first if there with reflectors.

I think I just screwed mine in with mirrored bulbs; passed MOT and look fine. Great upgrade from the old orange ones in my opinion.

I put the non reflective lens in and then fitted LED indicator bulbs. As bright as before and never had a comment at MOT time.
