Hi everyone,

Hopefully someone can help me with a problem that occurred today..

I bought a fiesta zetec s tdci last week and one of the first mods I wanted to do was change the numberplate bulbs to white(led's). So I had that chance today, however I now seem to have blown a fuse.. As it stands I currently don't have the following working since I installed the right hand side bulb:-

1. Both numberplate bulbs not working
2. Left hand side - Side light not working
3. Left hand side - (rear) 'Lights on' bulb not working.

The owners manual isn't to clear about where to start looking.. Anyone else had this issue or know where I should start looking?

Cheers

Resolved - Turns out it was a faulty LED and when I replaced the normal bulbs and re-started the engine.. Everything was fine!

Not sure if topics can be closed or not but this issue has been sorted.

Not sure about the Fiesta but many modern cars have CANBUS (I think it's called) electrics and if it doesn't detect enough electrical draw (such as an LED), it doesn't send any electricity to it at all.

Just for the record, the Fiesta doesn't need error free LEDs as it does not use the Canbus system, you do have to try the LEDs both ways round though as they will only work one way round.
Error free Canbus LEDs will still work in a none Canbus car though.
